Cardinal goes home with Adam

In the weekend I went to Adam's house. It didn't take long to get home because he lives quite close to school. We went to the park to play lots and lots. Adam to me to McDonalds for a burger and fries. It was really tasty. McDonalds was in a mall in Richmond.
We went to Adam's Dad's work. He works at Tallys on computers. Tallys catches and sorts fish.
I went to Dovedale, about 30 minutes drive to watch Adam's brother play cricket. He lost but did great.

It was great meeting Adam's family.

Good bye

Cardinal.

Sounds like cardinal is having a great tiem visiting everyone in his new class. I wonder how Kiwi is surviving?
Cricket is an interesting game. You have two teams of 11 players. One team is the batting team and the other is the fielding team. The batters get bowled at and they have to run between two sets of wickets to score a run. You can hit really big hits and automatically get four runs or sometimnes 6 runs, depending on how far the ball goes. The wickets are three sticks of wood poking out of the ground with bales, smaller pieces of wood, across the top. Batsmaen have to stay in their crease when hitting the ball and if the fielders can knock the bales off the wickets before the batsmen gets into the crease when running between the wickets the batsmen is out. He can also be out by someone catching his hit.
It's a great game, played by all ages in New Zealand. Our national men's team is called the Black Caps. We have some famous players. You can look up cricket on the website to find out more... nzcricket.co.nz
