"I'm sorry this bus ride is so long," said Alyssa. "It's almost an hour, so it's going to be a long wait. Just sit back and relax." Alyssa and her family live at the Bonneville Fish Hatchery. Her father is the foreman there. They live very near the dam.
"Kiwi, we're almost home. I'm so excited to tell Mommy. Oh, be careful around my little sister Myah. She can be very annoying! If she grabs you, I will be sure you don't get hurt." I was happy to hear Alyssa's kind words and lightened up. Just a little.
When we got home, Alyssa walked up a driveway to a small white house with green around it. Alyssa opened the door and shouted, "Look, Mom! I got to take home Kiwi. "
"Oh, how cute! said a little girl much smaller than Alyssa.
"Myah! Give Kiwi back!" The little girl quickly gave me back. I noticed the name of the girl and recognized it to be the Myah that Alyssa told me about. I shuddered. Alyssa unpacked her backpack and did her homework. Then she ate dinner and did some more homework.
It turned out to be a wonderful day at Alyssa's house.

Wow Kiwi.
Sounds like you had a great time at Alyssa's house. It is still really hot in Nelson. We hope you are not feeling the weather too cold.
We hope your trip was not too long and you are having a blast.
Thanks for looking after Kiwi Alyssa.
